A very gracious Charlie Sheen did a nice postgame interview with FOX Sports in Pittsburgh after his beloved Reds were dominated by the Pirates in the NL Wild Card game, and it was about as interesting as you might expect.
Sheen said he felt going into the game like a Pirates win was inevitable, but he came out of it with an important message, “Just do me a favor – beat St. Louis. Hell yeah, beat St. Louis.”
He showed off a fresh Reds forearm tattoo and noted the last time the Pirates were in the postseason he was in San Jose filming “Hot Shots! Part Deux.”
Asked if he gave Reds manager Dusty Baker any advice, he said, “I texted him, but he didn’t write back.”
Sorry, Charlie – maybe he’ll get back to you after he gets going through Twitter’s managerial suggestions.
